Legal

Terms of sale

Plain words first, legal detail second. Last updated 28 October 2026.

1. Who you are buying from

The products are made by Divil d.o.o., Slovenia (EU), trading as Just in Case Folder (full details on the legal notice). Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. as merchant of record: Stripe is the seller on your receipt, charges and remits the VAT or sales tax that applies in your country, and shows the final amount before you pay. These terms govern the licence, use and support; Stripe’s own terms, shown at checkout, govern the payment.

2. What you buy

Guided Organizer: an unlock that removes the “preview” mark from the PDF export of the browser organizer on this site, for two years from purchase, on any device where you open your unlock link. The questionnaire, preview and answers file are free and remain usable without the unlock.

Printable Folder: a digital download (a ZIP of PDF documents) delivered by a download link. Nothing is shipped.

The product pages describe what each contains. Where a figure is a design target rather than a measured result, the page says so.

3. Licence

On payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the organizer export or the printable files for your own household and the households of your close family, printing as many copies as they need, for as long as you like. The folder you fill in with your own information is yours without restriction.

You may not sell, rent, share publicly or upload the printable files or the unlock link; or build derivative products from them. Advisers and organisations who want to use the folder with many families should write to us first. All intellectual property in the questionnaire, texts and layouts stays with Divil d.o.o..

4. Delivery

Immediately after payment the unlock link or download link appears on the confirmation page and is emailed to the address you gave Stripe. Unlock links are valid for two years and download links for 30 days; both can be re-sent at any time at justincasefolder.com/download. If nothing arrives by the next day, write to hello@justincasefolder.com.

5. Your answers

Your answers to the questionnaire are processed only on your device and are never transmitted to us. We therefore cannot restore, back up or recover them. Keeping the answers file and the printed folder is your responsibility; the site explains how.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU and UK)

Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, this right is lost once delivery has begun with your express consent and acknowledgement. Our checkout asks for exactly that consent. Until you have exported a clean PDF (Guided Organizer) or downloaded the ZIP (Printable Folder) you may still withdraw; our refund policy explains how.

7. Faulty or incomplete files

If the printable files are missing or will not open, or the organizer export fails on a current browser, tell us what happened (with made-up data, never your folder). You are entitled to a corrected version without charge and, if we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, to a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Price and payment

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where it applies. The exact tax for your country is calculated by Stripe at checkout before you confirm. Promotion codes apply only to the purchase they are entered for.

9. No account; no advice

No account is needed. Purchases must be made by an adult. The organizer, the printable folder and the guides are general information to help a household record where things are and who to call; they are not legal, financial or medical advice and do not replace a will, a power of attorney or a care plan.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from information recorded in a folder, from a lost answers file, or from a folder that was not kept up to date. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.

11. Changes

We improve the organizer and the files from time to time (clearer wording, better layout). Buyers get the current version; changes never remove what you paid for. Answers files from older versions keep loading or receive a clear message, never silent loss.

12. Governing law and disputes

Slovenian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Complaints are handled by email within 14 days. EU consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
